New Window (Ctrl-Shift-N) doesn't open in the same directory

New Tab (Ctrl-Shift-T) opens a tab in the same directory as the current term but New Window (Ctrl-Shift-N) opens a window in the home directory

Any chance we can make this consistent?

I can implement this if #257 is merged. I don't want to refactor the code to increase the scope of #257, so it'd be better to work on this issue in a subsequent patch.

This would be a big quality of life improvement for me, as it's a big part of my workflow for other terminals 🙏
