cosmic-launcher search function does not provide expected results
When using cosmic-launcher to search for the Tor Browser to launch, the browser is not provided as an option, even when completely typed out.
The search function of cosmic-applibrary work as expected though.
Same here. Typing code, oss, code oss, code - oss doesn't find Code - OSS using Cosmic-Launcher, but works on App Library. Happens with some other software, not all, strangely.
Similar issue on my side - installed the LibreOffice suite from cosmic store and only LibreOffice Writer shows up in the launcher when searching for libreoffice, the others don't.
Same issue, on both my computers. Flatpak VScodium does not show up on the launcher, but only the Flatpak version. If i use dnf to install it works fine.
The LibreOffice Writer application is not displayed in the launcher after installing LibreOffice from Flathub.
This issue can be closed, as it seems to have been fixed
I'm not sure on this one. LibreOffice still seems to be problematic. I'm only seeing LibreOffice Writer, LibreOffice Math, and the LibreOffice meta launcher app. Calc, Impress, and Draw do not show up, even when I search them explicitly. This one might have to stay open a bit longer.
Tested it with original Post. Tor works without issues
It seems to be an issue only with flatpak. On deb install it lists all of them
cosmic-launcher doesn't display all LibreOffice Flatpak applications (only LibreOffice Draw) while cosmic-app-library properly displays the complete set of applications (LibreOffice, LibreOffice Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math, Writer).
Should I open a new specific issue for Flatpak applications?
