Stuck at 640x480 resolution
After today's update, COSMIC Greeter opened with a resolution of 640x480 (4:3), and my session did too. It's impossible to fix in the settings, and I can only resolve it by turning the monitor off and on again.
However, if I shut down my session, COSMIC Greeter returns to 640x480, but at least my desktop doesn't once I log in the second time.
How are you firing up the session? I imagine greetd is the first step, but what about the subsequent ones until the DE is loaded?
I'm asking because I recently faced similar issue when I accidentally used LXDM, which is a X11 display manager.
@fulalas Good question! It first happened after a cosmic update then the same day, I add an other cosmic updae so I did assume at this point they already knew about it so I just went along whit it. But then, recently, I had a problem at the decryption screen, before cosmic-greeter and I had to shut off manually. It happen again that time.
So it seem to happen at boot when there has been abnormal shut off. Also would like to know what is the software use to decrypt the disk, its so bad I would like to fork it.
I almost forgot about this problem but it seem more present than ever.

cryptsetup performs the LUKS decryption. If you disable the Plymouth splash screen with a kernel option, you will only see white text prompting for the device's password on a black frame buffer. If you're looking for Plymouth: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/plymouth/plymouth.git
