[bug] Pressing 'Delete' key on a desktop file makes a random scroll in the window.

For example I delete the file which is on the top, then I'll find myself in the middle of the list of the files within the window. It does this every time.

Can you please mention how to reproduce it step-by-step? or a video of the same??

  1. open a folder with many files, do not scroll
  2. delete a file
  3. the window will be scrolled, so you have to press the home key to be at the top of the list again

I couldn't reproduce it

Are you still facing the issue? Are there any min number of items that needs to be there? I tried it on a dir with 80 items

It seems like it only appears to me when I sort files by modification date. edit: also it only does it when I delete the top file. edit2: when I sort it by size, in window mode, the scroll happens when I delete a random file.

I tried the sort by modification and deleted the top file & it did scroll a little. Offset by 4 items Happens only in ListView

It seems like the latest update solved it. edit: no, it's still present, at least when sorting is set to date in list view.

When I have multiple tabs within a single window and switch between them, Files will always moves to the top of the list view, which can be very annoying.

This has been fixed.
