How to set color and icon theme?

Hey I am using a very minimal install of fedora with AwesomeWM. I built cosmic files from sources, but now the problem is no icons are visible. I think it is related to not having a icontheme set for cosmic??

How can I get a icon and color theme right without needing to install entire cosmic desktop?

You'll likely need to install cosmic-icons to load the default icons, or COSMIC Settings to switch to a different icon theme (there may be a config file for this, but I'm not sure where).

It looks like this issue is no longer relevant. The most likely cause was not installing cosmic-icons, as f0x mentioned.
