Systems hangs when logging out, restarting or shutting down

I installed on cosmic on PopOS following the guide. If I am using cosmic (or PopOS on wayland) whenever I logout or restart the system hangs with a blank screen. I have to hard reboot and there is no TTY, I attached my system log: systemlog-wayland-logout-hangs.txt

System setup:

• I have a System76 Thelio with the following non-stock components installed:
  • crucial NVME ssd (CT2000P5PSSD8)
  • regular 2.5" hard drive
  • AMD Radeon RC 7700, output from lspci: VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 32 [Radeon RX 7700 XT / 7800 XT] (rev c8)
• Connected Peripherals:
  • Launch Heavy Keyboard
  • Logitech G305 mouse
• Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS and all the latest updates are installed for everything on my system
