Ctrl+Tab keybinding for "Switch between open windows" does not hide switcher on key release

With "Ctrl+Tab" bound to "Switch between open windows", the switcher overlay launches and responds correctly to input, however the overlay persists after releasing keys and the selected window is not raised.
