Notifications reveals dock in always/intelligently hide mode

Running the latest version: Pop!_OS 21.10 and Gnome version 40.4.0.

The dock pops up from it's hiding place when a notification is received an application. This happens on both Always hide and intelligently hide mode. It also does not look at the Do not disturb mode of the system.

Proposed solution would be an option in the Dock Visibilty settings that gets enabled when it's not on Always visible to pop up during a notification and to make it follow the Do not disturb guidelines.

Please, could the dock not show with every notification? I don't find it relevant to show the dock on notifs. Why this feature was implemented? Please at least add an option to not bring up the dock on notifs, thank you <3.

Yeah, it's extremely distracting as-is.
