[FEATURE REQUEST] Blurred background of Dock
Hi POP OS Team, I edited the gtk-shell.css of Pop-dark theme to change the transparency of the background. It worked and I was able to get the see-through background of the dock. I added a line in the CSS code backdrop filter to blur the background. but it doesn't seem to work. Any way around it or any help to fix this?
@AbdurehmanSaleemi unfortunately the CSS in GNOME/COSMIC does not support blur this way. There are a few extensions that add Blur to the shell but they're all a bit buggy since the blur implementation is still lacking.
I personally use this one https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/3193/blur-my-shell/ but have disabled the dash/dock blur since it wasn't working well.
(I'm not related to System76 or Pop!_OS in any way, just a user)
gg bro. yes, i learned it late that GNOME's CSS doesn't support blur :-(. Let's hope Pop!_OS's own DE supports it.
