[Feature Request] Window Previews on hover

I helped a friend switch from Windows yesterday and one of the things we noticed is that the PopOS dock doesn't do the thing windows does where if you hover over an app icon it'll show you previews of the windows you have open of that app. At least, we haven't seen that happen — I'm a little confused, because I saw another issue here from a year ago that makes it seem like COSMIC dock actually does have that feature? anyway, if would be a nice feature to have!

It doesn't work on hover, but this setting allows previews to be displayed when an icon is clicked and multiple windows of that application are already open:

If only one window of that application is open, it will switch focus to it instead of showing a preview. I presume the reasoning behind this is that previewing a single window is an unnecessary extra step.

Thanks, that's pretty cool. And yeah, I get what you're saying, but getting a preview on hover if you have multiple windows open, instead of having to click to get that preview, might still be nice!

@alexispurslane I asked for something like this last year. See issue #142 It's a pretty easy fix now days. I agree this should be default behavior.
