[Feature Request] A way to merge the app icons and minimized windows
The current behavior works similarly to macOS, but it'd be useful if there was a way to merge the app icons and minimized windows like Windows / KDE.
Just remove the Minimize applet.
That kind of works, yeah. Are there any other ways to configure the applet? For example, showing window previews on hover and cycling through windows when clicking?
Not right now. Per-applet settings are currently planned for the second COSMIC release.
Preview on hover is requested in https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-epoch/issues/293 and click to cycle is requested in https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-panel/issues/459, add a like to those to hopefully get them added quicker
I created (https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-panel/issues/484) as the macos behaviour is slightly different and I would like to see it as an option for cosmic.
I think that is everything mentioned in this issue, can this now be closed?
