[BUG] Speaker applet not working correctly

I recently upgraded to pop os 24.04, previously i had been using cosmic on 22.04 and the speaker applet had been working correctly but after upgrading to 24.04 i now get this error message when opening applet

Sound is working and if i go to speaker settings i can manage the volume correclty

Apparently sound is not working when system is started i have to restart pipewire-pulse to get sounds to work.
