not sure if this is the right repo but would be nice to have a super+. emoji picker like in gnome

This is a great emoji picker. Not sure about the shortcut key, though

This is a low level text layout and rendering library similar to libpango. Used by a lot of open source projects and companies. An emoji picker would be the responsibility of the operating system. For COSMIC specifically, that would be provided as an applet.
