EDS integration in the calendar popup

It would be nice with Evolution Data Server integration for the calendar popup for the clock applet, similar to what gnome have, where you can see the meetings for the selected date (with the default selected being today). That is a very nice way, to check the schedule for today without having to open up the calendar app.
