[bug] numbered workspace-swicher disappears, probably after I reconnected my external monitor

The issue

I reconnected my second monitor and the other bug happened, #776, so I was trying to restore from the bug, successfully. I continued work thereafter. The external monitor was occupied by a single window on workspace one, thus there should be two numbers in the workspace selector, but there was only one (#1), which is a issue you probably already know. The problem nów is that the workspace selector doesn't show at all.

I am also experiencing this bug. Numbered workspaces are simply gone for me.

Does changing workspaces or other actions make the workspace switcher disappear, or does it just never show up again (without restarting anything)?

I don't know if this issue still exists, because I haven't spotted this behaviour after I made this issue on 2025-02-14. Edit: sorry, yóú two obviously experience this issue, but I don't.
