cosmic-applets-battery exits when battery isn't detected

I'm not sure if this is a packaging issue or upstream issue, but I'd appreciate any pointers to debug this.
Seems alright in theory, but the brightness and cpu governor settings are tied to the battery-applet. How are desktop users supposed to change those?
It's just that system76 want to have all features visible working for the alpha release. I guess the community could make a pr to support it however
There will be a Power settings page that includes performance profiles. That's expected for alpha2. Controlling external display brightness on a desktop won't be a priority for the first release.
