Logged out after opening Gnome applications
How did you upgrade to 22.04? (Fresh install / Upgrade) Upgraded from 21.10.
Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):
Gnome Settings, Printers, Displays
Issue/Bug Description: When trying to open these applications, I am logged out of my account.
Steps to reproduce (if you know): Open one of the apps above.
Expected behavior: Applications to open.
Other Notes: gg Gnome
I'm not seeing this happen on any systems in our lab. Can you describe your hardware a bit? Also, if you boot to the recovery partition (or to a 22.04 live disk) does opening the same programs cause the same crash?
For what it's worth, I'm experiencing the same thing. Upgraded to 22.04, can't open settings (getting kicked back to the login screen). Pop shop opens as per usual.
I'm on a Thelio.
Here's my syslog of the last boot in case it helps (seems like a gdm / gnome issue): syslog_gdm_gnome_crash.txt
(I've now done a reinstall which "fixed" the issue)
