Excessive Bluetooth notifications
How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)
Upgraded from 21.04 to 21.10 Beta
Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):
Bluetooth devices like Bluetooth mouse and Bluetooth earphones
Issue/Bug Description:
Notifications from Bluetooth devices when they plugged in and when they go to sleep.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
- Use Bluetooth mouse for a while,
- Start using keyboard,
- Receive notification that Bluetooth mouse has been disconnected
- Start using Bluetooth mouse again
- Receive notification that Bluetooth mouse is connected and its battery level
Expected behavior:
No Bluetooth notifications or no Bluetooth notifications after the initial connect

Other Notes: I don't get these endless notifications in other Linux distros and I would like to disable them
This is still happening, so annoying!!!!
Worked fine in 21.04, now appears around 40-60 times a day in 22.04. Any way to disable this in PopOS or Gnome?
(Currently using Microsoft Designer Keyboard, which goes "idle" to save battery after no typing after 2-3 minutes or so, which causes a lot of notifications)
This is caused by a blueman plugin. You can turn it off in the settings for that https://github.com/blueman-project/blueman/issues/1556
