Add ability to set grace period

It would be useful to add the ability to set a custom "grace period" (the delay between coloring data for deletion and effective deletion). This, apparently, is currently hard-coded to a month or so. Being able to set a shorter period would better fit some scenarii (tight space constraints, rapidly rotating data, testing plakar for evaluation purposes).
