Connected but it doesn’t share anything

My MacBook late 2008 works with Catalina and I could set up Side car. Connects my Macbook and my iPad Air wifi 3, let me see all the options in my Sidecar options but I cannot move anything between screens. I use both paired Bluetooth, apple id.... and still cannot pair them in real connecting or not the usb lightning. What is next? Thank you
