setPlaybackSpeed() not working

speed not changing after changing values, I tried many youtube videos with 0.75, 2.0, 1.5

also an error [ERROR:flutter/lib/ui/ui_dart_state.cc(177)] Unhandled Exception: 'package:flutter/src/services/message_codec.dart': Failed assertion: line 111 pos 15: 'code != null': is not true

current flutter: 1.22.5
