Default speed on all videos, on all sites, set at 1.55 and not changeable

I added the extension to watch a webinar at 1.5 speed. Now any video I try to watch has 1.55 set as a custom default. None of the globalspeed functions are working to change the speed in any direction. The settings in youtube can be adjusted, but pressing play takes it back to the 1.55 default. Removing the extension doesn't reverse this. Adding the extension back didn't change anything. Please help.

Removing the extension doesn't reverse this.

Very likely you have two instances of Global Speed installed, or another extension that controls speed. I would try disabling every extension. Let me know if issue resolves once all of them are disabled.
