Speed can not be changed

Hi there,

my last video was set to 2x speed. Upon opening the next video, it was also playing in 2x speed (which was unusual since normally all videos have their own speed-settings and start at 1x) But in this video the speed can not be changed. (not via keys or the UI of youtube) it always jumps back on 2x (even after refreshing the page)

Hello! Interesting problem. I've had it happen to me before when I had two extensions installed trying to control speed. Try disabling all extensions except Global Speed. If that doesn't work, try re-installing the extension. Let me know if the problem persists.

I only have Global Speed active. all other extentions are diabled.

A few questions.

1. Does turning on Ghost mode in the settings do anything?
2. Is the problem on all sites?
3. Did you try re-installing?

1. I've activate it and will test and report back if the problem reoccurs
2. I only got it on youtube by now. no other website
3. No. but maybe ghost-mode will fix it. If not will try reinstall and report back :)
