About Global media list

Currently, the media list only for videos/audios that are actively. It disappears after I click pause, close the extension tab, and turn it on again. I wonder if it is possible to make the media list always active. I remember it used be active the time the older version. Adding this feature back would be helpful. I an Edge user, and Edge does not seem to provide global media control anymore(😡), so I quite dependent on this feature😭.
