I hope to use the shortcut key function according to my own needs.

Sometimes, I wish to freely enable or disable keyboard shortcuts based on my personal needs.

I too would like a configurable shortcut that enables and disables all global speed shortcuts as well as a toggle in the extension settings to do the same.

For me I need this because: I use the extension tridactyl. It has a function that highlights all hyperlinks on the screen an assigns random keyboard letters to them. This function conflicts with common shortcuts that globalSpeed sets. For example the key a. For me the navigation shortcuts are a much higher priority compared to video speed change.

My current work around is to disable all single key globalSpeed shortcuts one by one.

Thanks.

Hello! To understand the use case better, why not configure a 'state' shortcut (which disables shortcuts).

I did not realize the state shortcut existed (or that it would disable shortcuts). That seems to solve my immediate issue. Thank you.
