Does not always work on YouTube

Open gmelcher3889 opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

Ever since the last update I am having Issues with changing the speed on youtube videos - sometimes it locks the speed to whatever the speed was set at when I clicked the video and the only way to fix that is by closing the yt tab and reopening the video. Thanks for the help!

Little late but yes, having this issue in Brave with the Chrome extension installed. Have to refresh almost every tab after opening in new tab to get GS to work.

@iker42 Which version of Brave? I'll try to test it.

@gmelcher3889 Which browser do you use, and what version?

@polywock I am on the latest version of Chrome. I have found that manually setting a speed in the extension icon resets my hotkeys and I can use them again

@polywock I've noticed that it happens most of the time when opening a video in a new tab. When I switch to that tab, it plays at native speed and I have to refresh to get GS to apply. Changing the speed manually seems not to work unless I refresh as well.
