Hello. How can I make this addon NOT change the speed automatically on all sites, but only when I press the speed button?

I also want to know how to make a working standard youtube speed interface (when you click on x1, the specified speed in the addon is launched)

Hello. Global Speed is designed to be a top-down speed controller. If the user changes the speed through the website's video player, it's impossible to tell if it was that website's code doing that, or if it was the user. The only way to know the user's intent is if they change it through Global Speed's shortcuts or toolbar menu.

However, if you want to change the speed to 3x, you can do so through Global Speed's controls (A-S-D keys by default on QWERTY keyboard). After you're done, use Shift-Q to turn off Global Speed.

Is it possible to disable automatic speed on all sites?

You can keep Global Speed disabled. Only when you want to use Global Speed, press the Shift-Q to turn it on. Change to your desired speed using A-S-D keys. And turn off again using Shift-Q.
