Hello. Don't work in Kubuntu 15.04, kernel 3.19.0, plasma 5.3.2, MacBook Air 2014. Please disable backlight with config option 'workmode='1' or command line switch '-w 1'.

I've tried to install the Kubuntu 15.10 desktop without any luck to further debug this issue. There may be an update to the dbus path and method that we are not aware of. Do you mind finding out?

I've managed to get Kubuntu 15.10 installed and lightum works properly. I would check to see if the schema for KDE and plasma are properly installed. No errors here.
