Question about the transport, passenger car, entry in the superstructure database

I want to use the transport, passenger car, unspecified (world) in my model for future scenarios in activity browser.

By using this entry, does the composition of vehicle types also change? For example, should I expect the proportion of EV will rise with year in the superstructure?
