Do you know how to write single draft mode

Hi, I'm new in dota2 custom game. I want to write SD(single draft) mode. But I have no idea about how to write SD mode. Do you know some document I can reference about that? Now I think to write the mode is I ban the player1 3 types hero until each type only remain 1 hero. Is this a good idea?
