Reduce excessive logging

Now as for logs, when this happens the amount of logs emitted is absolutely massive. I've never seen so many, we talk about hundreds and hundreds of lines, most of them from processes names hard to identify (Fifth column in adb logcat -v threadtime). Maybe excessive logging is related to app crashes or performance issues? I'll take a look and see if there are any obvious logs we can reduce in our prod build at least.

I'm really not sure what to do, or how important this even is for someone to work on. Marking it as "help wanted." Is this something we should be concerned about? How can we reduce the excessive logging?
