Option for hierarchical displaying of posts not working

Description

So I am trying to set the parent page(s) for the custom post types I have created with pods. In the Advanced Options tab in the Pods Admin editor, I have checked the Hierarchical checkbox as well as checking the Page Attributes checkbox.

However, when editing the post itself, I am not provided a full listing of all Pages/Posts to select from, I am only being shown Posts from within the same current post type.

The overall goal here is to be able to select a specific page to set as the parent page for the CPT and it be displayed properly inside of the breadcrumbs for the post.

Possible Workaround

I have been working on a work around that is starting to feel extremely hacky. I think that the functionality that is already built into Pods is intending to offer this, but I can not find any type of documentation that supports this.
