Heya! I'd say that yes/no. I have plans on rewriting the whole plugin from scratch because the code base is a little old at this point and needs to take advantage of Nvim-0.8 (similar to what happened to true-zen.nvim).

Furthermore, the current implementation is, in some way, vim friendly, and I want to look into treesitter to check how viable it is for this sort of stuff.

In addition, I have some other features in mind aside from the ones suggested in the issues.

I can't give an exact date on when this is gonna take place. All I'm gonna say is: soon.

But yeah, I do agree this project hasn't receive much love in while. I'll see what I can do :)

This is a project with a lot of potential, even more with the added features (add ability to import/export highlights with custom filename and path etc.), so I wish you the best of luck into further developing this plugin 😉.
