This might be related to https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/4968 To resolve try the following:

1. Clear watchman watches: watchman watch-del-all.
2. Delete the node_modules folder: rm -rf node_modules && npm install.
3. Reset packager cache: rm -fr $TMPDIR/react-* or npm start -- --reset-cache.

I had same problem, and I solve it use next step:

1. upgrade 'react-native' React Native升级指南|v0.40+升级适配经验与心得
2. then 'react-native run-ios' will error because Navigator is deprecated in react-native v0.43. We can use 'react-native-deprecated-custom-components' in next step: 2.1. npm install react-native-deprecated-custom-components --save 2.2. import {Navigator} from 'react-native-deprecated-custom-components'
