this is a major problem and clearly won't work for any domains other than sharepoint.com. We should either fix it or document that we only support sharepoint.com.

Use the extension with credentials for custom domain or GCC tenants.
📜 Expected behavior
the extension should work regardless of tenant type, or documentation should clearly mention that only .sharepoint.com is supported.

yes it is a small bug which we could investigate if could be done better. on the other hand form the quick check I did it seems that this is only used to create the URL for the admin site and web API permission site, so only for those shortcut links we have in the account view. I wouldn't say this is a killer feature of this extension 😉. All other should work normally. The worst part of GCC tenants is that I don't have access to one to double check SPFx Toolkit 🤷♂️so it is really hard with 100% confidence that everything is working fine until someone will open a bug
