Downloaded this web part. The web part is successfully downloaded but the icon on the individual card is missing. this part should be able to populate the additional details on the contact chosen.

Thank you. Hmm. Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce, and I've tried on multiple browsers. If you hover your mouse anywhere on that area, do you get a cursor (finger pointer mouse cursor)? Are you using a custom theme?

I do not get anything. I have to keep clicking and then randomly the box open up. Yes, we have created a custom theme.

That's interesting that you can get the popup to open. That means the element is there on the page, the icon just isn't rendering. Can you change your theme to a default one and see if it becomes visible? (Just to rule out the theme as a culprit)
Let me test that but does that mean I will not be able to use this we part for the custom theme. ?Has any one tested that? We have to use the custom theme

I updated the version of fabric-ui, but I am unable to replicate the issue for a complete test. Once the new code is merged, I recommend trying the new version (3.1.0.0)

this webpart has been updated in the v3 branch: https://github.com/pnp/sp-starter-kit/tree/v3, as we are in the process up updating all spfx aspects of this project to v1.13.1. Please try installing either the sppkg in question from the v3 branch, or you should be able to allow re-provision the entire kit if you want. I suggest just replacing the sppkg.
Hello, I try this today but I still have the same problem,in my apps it's the good one V 3.1.0.0 but on my sharepoint website it looks the same as before I downloaded from here : https://github.com/pnp/sp-starter-kit/blob/eef9553e623ae85c314a54e2091366c8ad8e9d10/source/react-people-directory/sharepoint/solution/react-people-directory.sppkg
Another question is it possible to have a search button without the alphabetic list ? because in my alphabetic list I have a lot of card who aren't people but admin account or other.

@Anakinnuvisan I am unable to determine why that icon is not appearing for you, it is available in our testing environment, and there is no specific logic that would hide the icon. Without being able to duplicate the issue, we are unable to provide a fix.
As for your request to have the search button without the alpha list, that would certainly be possible, but it would require you to modify the source code slightly and re-bundle the particular webpart sppkg.

This sounds like a great request for a enhancement. To submit an enhancement request, click on the issues tab in the repo, New Issue and select Enhancement. Fill out the form, just like you did for the icon "bug."
I would love to work on this enhancement, once you submit it. (It won't take long!)
