Expected / Desired Behavior / Question

Using the DateTimePicker control should allow a user to select a date from the calendar dropdown and remain in the same vertical position on a given page.

Observed Behavior

When a date is selected from the calendar dropdown, a given page's position jumps to the top.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Using the PnP Modern Search Solution: https://github.com/microsoft-search/pnp-modern-search.
  2. Bump version to latest (3.17.0).
  3. Using the PnP Search Filters SPFx web part locally, configure a filter to a date/time column.
  4. Select a date from the calendar dropdown in the filter.
