Update outdated script samples

There are quite a few script samples that would not work today in the latest version of the CLI. Or that could benefit from a slight update to reduce unnecessary code like --output json (as json is the default output)

I've created this epic to keep track of this. let's add samples that need an issue, and a child issue for them.

Most of the time, these issues need to be updated in the Script samples repo as well. So we'll need to create issues/PR's to that repo as well.
