Running PS Script Enable-SPResponsiveUI Error: Could not establish trust for SSL/TLS

Open ghost opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

When running the script to enable UI responsive on my sharepoint 2016 On-Premise lab I am getting an error.

I have a Sharepoint 2016 web front end at the URL HTTPS://home.msolab.intranet. The certificate is self-signed, not from a CA.

When I run the powershell command; .\Enable-SPResponsiveUI.ps1 -TargetSiteurl Https://home.msolab.intranet, I get the following errors

Exception Occurred: Exception Type: System.Net.WebException The Underlying Connection was closed: Could not establish a trust relationship for the SSL/TLS Secure channel.

Is it because the Cert is not trusted?

FYI, I removed the HTTPS Binding, and set the URL back to HTTP, and it worked fine.
