NavBar doesn't take all vertical space

Sometimes the NavBar opens without taking all available vertical space:

Hi,

That's normal because the NavBar height is a scaled version of the documents lengths (as lines). CP tries to preview all changes in a single screen NavBar so all changes are directly visible.

I get that NavBar should reflect the whole files on a single screen. But I seem to remember that in the previous versions of CP (< 2.0), the NavBar would fill the whole screen vertically. The empty space seems wasted here.

Honestly I don't remember the old CP behavior - actually I haven't used CP before. I remember for sure that some diffs were not properly shown in the NavBar (which was reported by the users and was really a problem) but that's all. What bothers you actually with the current behavior? The N++ appearance (NavBar in particular) when you are using CP with dark theme?

No, the appearance is secondary to me here.

What bothers me is that it is harder to see the differences between files since the colored lines highlighting the differences on the NavBar are thinner and closer to each another that they could be if the NavBar would fill the whole space.

I understand, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback.
