[Feature Request]: Ability to Edit Threads in a Space by Removing Unwanted Prompts

Open tytrate opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Feature Description

I would like the ability to edit threads stored within a space by removing specific prompts that are no longer relevant. This feature would allow users to clean up cluttered threads and retain only the prompts that contribute to the desired outcome. The ability to streamline threads would enhance usability and improve the overall experience by focusing on essential information.

Use Case

Simplifying Threads for Future Reference: A user submits multiple prompts in a thread while exploring different approaches to a problem. After finding the right solution, they want to remove the unnecessary prompts to keep the thread concise for future reference.

Collaborative Spaces: In a team space, multiple users contribute various prompts in a discussion thread. After reaching a consensus or solution, the team leader wants to remove redundant or irrelevant prompts to maintain a clean and organized thread for other team members.

Educational Purposes: An educator uses a space for teaching purposes, where students submit several questions in a single thread. After addressing the important ones, the educator can remove irrelevant or duplicate questions, ensuring that only useful information remains for students revisiting the thread later.
