[Bug]: Comet Assistant Window Zoom Feature Not Working

Describe the bug

The assistant window's zoom feature has stopped working. The zoom slider added in the plugin options does not change the zoom level of the assistant window, even after reloading the assistant multiple times or relaunching with the special shortcut.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the assistant window
2. Adjust the zoom slider in the plugin options
3. Reload the assistant window
4. Observe that the zoom level does not change

Expected Behavior

The zoom level should change when adjusting the slider in plugin options.

Actual Behavior

The zoom level remains unchanged regardless of the slider value.

Additional Context

• Issue started during the weekend (around Oct 26-27, 2025)
• The zoom plugin worked perfectly before this
• User tried multiple troubleshooting steps:
  • Reloaded assistant window multiple times
  • Cleared browsing data
  • Restarted browser
  • Disabled/re-enabled both plugin and extension
  • Changed zoom value on the slider repeatedly
  • Relaunched with special shortcut
• This is the only plugin that doesn't work
• User suspects a possible Perplexity update over the weekend may have caused the issue
