Another vote here for changing the utility meter reset behaviour. I have a convoluted set of template sensors and automations trying to work around this issue right now.

I've started to experience similar issues on 2022.10.5. My Chromecast with Google TV connection is really unreliable, however my Sony Bravia with Google TV still works fine.
