It would be great if there was an option to make translations of blog posts to different languages. However, even hypothetically, there are questions about how such a feature would be implemented:

  • Should localized pages be served on different urls, or on the same url, with content changed by javascript?
  • Should comments be separate? May be administrator can choose it?

Hi golergka. You may find this recent article helpful. It's not a definitive howto, but it does show a solution that was used for a rather large government organization.

I've shared a plan with @plusjade to implement multi-blog and multilingual support. (Two separate tasks.) Will share the notes with you guys after his review if he doesn't think they're total crap. =)
