Active fork of this repo

As this repo did not receive any maintenance since 10 years, we forked it, applied all four open Pull-Requests, and fixed two low-hanging issues. We plan to actively use (and improve) the repo ourselfs, and are happy to hand out push access to others, if they want to act as maintainers as well.
