Android Smartphones imported from OCS are stored as computers

Open philippe-chauvier opened this issue 4 years ago • 7 comments

Dear Team,

I currently use the last version of OCS inventory application 2.7 with GLPI 9.4.5.

I collect information from Android Smartphones with the Android OCS Inventory Agent 2.3.1.

During the synchronization with OCS, the Android Smartphone collected are stored as computer, not as phones. However, there is no rule that allows me to modifiy this process.

Is there an evolution of the plugin planned to implemente this ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Regards

Philippe

Hello, A this time, no solution. The plugin OCS Inventory has not been updated. Th Smartphone object is still considered a pc from OCS Inventory. The GLPI team announced native support for this object from the 9.5 version, but there was no change. If you have any other informations about this subject, i'll be glad to share them. Regards Philippe

GLPI version 10.0.14

Hello,

I am restarting this discussion because I need to import hundreds of Android phones for the most part. However, from my first test, the phone is considered a computer. The import was carried out using the "GLPI Agent" application with "GLPI Native Inventory": (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.glpi.inventory.agent&hl=en)

I really need help or at least an API or SQL script to know what needs to be modified to migrate the data from Computer to Phone.

Bonjour,
