Feature request: Receive value for fields via URL params, auto fill or Auto populate

Hi,

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I didn't found an issue.

Describe the solution you'd like I want to receive values from the URL for inputs to make easy integration with another softwares making easy to auto fill the name or telephone for example.

Describe alternatives you've considered Creating a custom form and send to the target url of 'formcreator' or edit form created with JS

Additional context I want to choose and auto set some forms values from another system. I have other systems and I need to integrate and sync many info with GLPI.

Hi

You may be able to do it thanks to the API features of GLPI. Be aware that I don't know anyone using Formcreator via the API, and the plugin might have odd behavior in this context.

Feel free to try and report issues. Documentation of the API is available in GLPI (see MD files in the repo of GLPI). You also need knowledgge about the overall design of the database.

No. There is no documentation for the API of the plugin. As the plugin is reaching end of life because if integration of forms in the core, no documentation will be written, nor feature will be developed.

Availability of forms in glpi is expected in glpi 10.1
