Multiple choice in users type list

Should it be possible to add multiple users per fields ?

For example when I create a ticket, I can assign it to multiple users using the "+" button.

We just created custom fields for our applications : read only / read write / administrators etc. and we would like to add multiple users in such fields using the users dropdown menu. We currently use the multiples lines text box.
