Feature request : Import/export system

Open GuiGuiSoft opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Hello,

Is it possible to add an import/export system form fields ?
Or at least, do you think it is possible ? (if, by chance, I find someone, more capable than me, to do it 😄 )

The purpose is to be able to:

  1. Create, update or delete fields on a test GLPI
  2. Transfer the last version of my custom field(s) to the production GLPI
  3. Iterate

Thank you for your answers.
Regards.

In the same mood, perhaps to have the choice at the uninstallation time to keep the data or not ?

If you wan to keep data, just disable the plugin; do not uninstall it.

Hello,

My purpose is not to export in order to have a backup, but export in order to use the fields on an other GLPI server :)
I would like to use a GLPI test server to demonstrate custom fields (names, values, position...), then collect feedbacks from users and, after that, update custom fields on the GLPI production server.

Regards.
