MERDA/Vanilla compatibility
here's a general issue for merda compatibility, which are also mostly issues for vanilla compatibility. This ticket refers to other issues
- [x] Array default color issue (also needed for [brane.m~]), old discussion at https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1678
- [x] We cannot edit the object name and arguments of a GOP abstraction/subpatch, needed for for [brane.m~] (but also [out~] abstractions from ELSE and stuff), see old discussion at https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1689
- [x] Implement sample visualization in points (needed for [brane.m~] but also a big Vanilla compatibility issue), see old discussion at https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1683
- [ ] Improve the font issues for iemguis labels (again, once again, for [brane.m~]), old discussion at https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1671 and it's also part of a task list for Vanilla visual compatibility issues, see: https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1882
- [x] Knob GUIS look way too smaller than the original, at least when there's no outline, this could be of the same size. This is also listed at https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/901
- [ ] allow background item to be clicked (affects brane.m~) - see https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/2137
Actual issues just related to MERDA compatibility:
- [ ] Pair up modules (old discussion in https://github.com/plugdata-team/plugdata/issues/1674 )
- [ ] I'd also like to discuss that maybe having an exact copy of the original Vanilla is just 'easier' and better. I know you have tooltips to show what the inlet is, but having comments saying what they are without the need to hover the mouse on top of things is something different and I don't see why it should be removed.
